Projects
Projects of Swiss International Cooperation
Numerous Swiss projects are presently underway or have already been completed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In accordance with the priorities defined by SDC and SECO they concentrate on various domains.

The programme concentrates on a four domains, joining themes and projects which have a major common focus and provide for synergy which supports the achievement of the overall goal.

The overall goal of the Programme is to support the BiH transition and European integration process.


Rule of Law and Democracy 
Central and local government institutions are strengthened, demoratically controlled and based on the rule of law.


Economy and Employment


The business environment as well as access to markets and finance improved and more young people enter the labour market.

Health
Quality and scope of primary health care have improved and provide socially inclusive services. 


Basic Infrastructure
Basic infrastructure is available that fosters sustainable economic development and improves living conditions.


Regional cooperation
Address region-specific problems through cooperation between countries and contribute to improve relations and increase mutual trust.


Migration Partnership
Contribute to the development of migration partnerships between Switzerland and Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina and Serbia, promotes voluntary return and sustainable integration in the above mentioned countries,strengthen the capacities of migration management and international cooperation in migration politics and prevents irregular migration.


Gender and Good Governance
A key principle in relation to Gender is to address structural inequalities between women and men. Good Governance aims to create an environment in which constitutionality and human rights, gender equality, an appropriate division of power, and macro-economic stability are strengthened.


Youth as a Target Group
Making youth a specific target group when selecting and designing projects intends to improve the situation of young people by developing their potential and capacities.
