The Swiss funded activities are mostly concentrated in the <>Northern provinces of Nampula, Cabo Delagado and Niassa.
With the new cooperation strategy Switzerland intends to
- become highly focused on a few selected intervention areas, where Swiss cooperation has a comparative advantage and can make a difference;
- fully engage in policy partnership, harmonisation and alignment;
- be highly responsive to key government priorities;
- show a commitment to support activities at the field level in order to explicitly link local context and reality to the policy dialogue at the macro level;
- balance its approach by combining a growth, a service delivery and a governance component.
