About us

Swiss Cooperation in Central Asia

Swiss Cooperation Offices (SCOs) in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republicare are responsible for Swiss development activities in Central Asia. 

The Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic employs 22 people. It oversees implementation of a number of national and some regional projects.

SCO in Dushanbe, Tajikistan employs 34 people. It oversees implementation of a number of national projects in Tajikistan.

SCO in Tashkent, Uzbekistan employs 17 people. It oversees implementation of six national projects, plus all regional water sector projects in the Ferghana Valley.

Each office has its own Arts and Culture Programme.
