Visa for Switzerland

 

Dear visitor - please read these informations carefully before handing in your visa application.

 

General information

 

The Swiss Consular agency in Bishkek accepts application for Schengen visas if

 

·         the main purpose of your trip is in Switzerland

·         the first point of entry into the Schengen territory is Switzerland

·         the longest stay in a Schengen country is in Switzerland

 

The Swiss Embassy in Tashkent is the official representation of Switzerland in Kyrgyzstan and therefore responsible for issuing all visas. All documents handed in at the Consular Agency in Bishkek are transmitted to Tashkent for approval. This procedure takes up to three weeks.

 

Visa applications should be handed in not more than three month and not less than three weeks prior to departure.

 

Applications have to be handed in personally and only new Kyrgyz passports are accepted. Residents in Kyrgyzstan are asked to present their resident permit.

 

The applications forms have to be completed in Latin letters and all further documents have to be translated into either English, German, French or Italian.

 

Each application is checked individually and no guarantee is given that a visa will be issued. Visa fees are not reimbursed in case of refusal.

 

Visa applications can be submitted Monday to Thursday from 9 to 12 am. Please take advantage of a personal appointment by phone (+996 312) 30 10 36 or by email bishkek@sdc.net

 

Visa fees

 

Adults: 79 USD

Minors from 6 to 12 years: 47 USD

Children up to 6 years: free of charge

Visas can be issued free of charge for members of official delegations.

 

Mailing services to Tashkent: 10 USD

 

Please be informed that the fees have to be paid cash in US Dollars and only clean bank notes can be accepted.
